The AL4-5597 is bolt up so unless the adjusted the rear flange you could just order one of them for $200, unbolt old muffler and sell it as bolt replacement to someone else on here.

pretty sure it would have already been mentioned, but put a resonator back in,.... high-flow, stock, it doesn't matter. the magna V6 sounds like a civic without one!

1st thing, you got screwed on the price of your rear muffler - unless it's titanium.
2nd, get a resonator - not a hotdog. If you actually notice a power loss in a natmo car with 110 at the treads then the Earth's spinning probably makes you giddy.
3rd, why would you want to put a cannon on anything Except a pirate ship.......

All the redback systems installed at Dad's shop have sounded pretty respectful. Even a rear muff swap to something straight thru with a LOT of glasspacking will deepen your tune up. Avoid anything with a resonance chamber - you'll have migraines.

Remember that the mods you do to your car now will still be there when you're older and wiser.

Yeah I'm pretty sure they ripped me off on my rear muffler.
I just got the resonator taken out?? It made it louder. But louder in the sense that its a really really pissy tinny sound. I hate getting it past 2000 RPM .
Yeah I've scrapped the cannon idea. Now just looking at a good sounding rear muffler.

Sux knowing you got screwed, but when you're there and want it done whats a couple of bucks hey?

Get a reso put back in and it'll return your life to normal, promise

You can then source a smaller bodied rear muff and get a touch more note from it without rasp or drone.

Ok well after all this I'm back to square one. On the weekend I drove around in a mates lancer with a hefty cannon which he got off ebay for $100 and fitted for $70.
A lot of people on here don't like cannons and I don't think it would look that good on a magna, but his car sounded sweet, awesome sound coming out of it, so still unsure.
Maybe get a cannon on for around 170 and then sell off the old muffler for a bit?

. If you like the sound of a tiny capacity N/A engine with a muffler that's way too big, then a cannon is probably for you.

I would personally just get a nice sounding Powerflow or Magnaflow muffler or something. They're a lot cheaper and will sound a lot better.
